Greetings All!
Hope your Thanksgiving was a success. We had a wonderful time visiting and of course eating. So many things to be thankful for in our lives. I slept like a rock that night. LOL
Ebay is slower than watching barbed wire rust these days so I am trying to get new listings completed for my Etsy shop. There is a link on this blog to get there.
We are all still praying for a few days of rain here in Georgia to help with the drought. It may get quite serious soon if we don't fill those reservoirs. I can't imagine in this day and time not turning on the faucet to get water!!!!
Not much new on this end. Trying to complete some started projects, maybe today I can get that done. Procrastination seems to be my middle name lately. Hehehe
Have a wonderful weekend and remember those you love.
Peace,
Cath

Thanksgiving Week
Greetings All,
Now it is crunch time and I am ready with my grocery list. Seems it grows a bit every year about this time. I love to cook so I always look forward to Thanksgiving. It is such a wonderful Holiday! The best part to me is the fact that it is all about being thankful. It is the time of year when we can catch up with family and friends and just enjoy being together.
Of course, we also love turkey! And I have been making the same cornbread sausage dressing for over 25 years now. Guess one would consider that a tradition now. LOL
So now it is off to put the finishing touches on the list and see what other project needs doing.
Remember to tell those you love how thankful you are for them. Kindness is free, so give it away!
I wish you all a Blessed Thanksgiving.

Monday again?
Greetings Faithful Bloggers,
Well, this morning started out with a bang. As some of you know, I was an administrator who wrote curriculum for a preschool until my recent retirement. So I was on the call list for the alarm system at the school. You got it, 5:45 a.m., the phone rang and by the time I found it (lol), it had quit. Then my cell phone went off like gang busters and I did find it in time. The alarm monitoring company still had me as first contact on their list. Yikes! I left in July. Go figure. Needless to say I was wide awake then and the day went downhill.
But all is well now. Again, never a dull moment in this household. I hold my breath to see what tomorrow brings. Hehehee!
Enjoy this fall, winter is around the bend.
Hugs,
Cath

Supe Saturday!
Greetings all,
I just got back from lunch with my client for the commissioned piece. It was so wonderful to visit with them. I realize how much I miss my kiddos from the school.
I have to tell a tale on Fred and myself. Obviously, with grandkids, etc., we aren't exactly spring chickens any more. So, you notice that your eye sight, hearing, etc., is not at sharp as it was once.
Fred called me into the kitchen and there was a most annoying high pitched whine going on. We checked the oven, microwave, light fixture, coffee pot, refrigerator and even opened the window to see if the sound was outside with the a/c unit. We live on the ground floor of a condo, so I even knocked on the neighbor's door to see if it was at their place. No good.....the noise was increasing in pitch a bit and about to drive me nuts, which is a short trip these days. We both stood in the kitchen scratching our heads and looking all around like a couple of nuts! Finally, I said I can't take this and went to work on a new art piece for a bit.
Something possessed my pea brain and I went back to the kitchen, opened the gadget drawer and the noise almost knocked me over! LOL It was our digital meat thermometer letting us know the battery was dying out!!!! We both cracked up. Guess it was better then than in the middle of our favorite rare roast beef!
Never a dull moment at this house!
